Runners/Walkers, we are proud to announce the 2nd Annual Independence 5k, right here in Duluth, MN! Run along the scenic E. Skyline Pkwy off of Glenwood Ave. by one of Duluth’s famous landmarks, Hawk’s Ridge.
REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO THE FIRST 400 PARTICIPANTS, GET YOUR ENTRIES IN BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE!
ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 3 PM ON TUESDAY THE 3RD!
Race day registration will be at the race site.
Cost for the 5k run is $20 pre-registered on the website or mail in entry.
Price for the 5k walk is $15 pre-registered.
Cost for the 1 mile kids run is $8 pre-registered.
All pre-registered athletes prior to June 20th will receive the 2nd Annual Independence 5k t-shirt.
YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER TO BE GUARANTEED A SHIRT!
All minors must have a parent’s signature. All children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
Race day registration is $25, but cannot be guaranteed a t-shirt. Late registrants can pick up their event shirts at Austin-Jarrow the week after the event.

- 7:00 am – Packet pickup opens
- 8:15 am – Packet pickup closes
- 8:30 am – Kids 1 mile race
- 8:45 am – 5k runners and walkers
- 10:15 am – Awards ceremony
